F.A.S.T. Defense Training

Children's Seminars

Updated

Our F.A.S.T. Defense Seminars help children deal with the fears of handling the school or neighborhood bully. They are taught that there is an alternative to running, cowering or fighting.

Additionally the training helps children feel and understand the challenges of a realistic street encounter. This training is a real as it gets. All done in a safe and controlled atmosphere.

Assertive behavior is taught and practiced. Verbal and spatial skills are also part of this training.

The children learn and experience an adrenal rush through our carefully structured "Portal of Safety" drills.

Self defense techniques which are applicable for both adults and an attacker their size are taught and practiced.

The seminar concludes with a minimum of two 'fights' against our padded assailant, the "Bulletman". While there is a certain amount of induced fear, the children learn to face the fear and apply the techniques they have been taught, full power against the assailant or assailants.

Some classes with include stand up fighting techniques, ground fighting, weapons defense, and multiple attackers.

As each seminar is announced, we will give you an overview of its contents. Seminars are approximately two hours long and are limited in enrollment.

Please contact the school for seminar dates, times and prices.
